From Enquiry to Qualification: The WorkForward Student Journey

Knowing what happens after an enquiry helps you compare a course, prepare the required documents and make an informed enrolment decision without unnecessary uncertainty.
WorkForward Business School uses a staged process so prospective students receive course information before committing to enrolment and so suitability, identification and language, literacy and numeracy requirements can be considered.
The details below describe the general journey. Course-specific requirements, fees, start arrangements and assessment conditions are confirmed in the information provided to you.
1. Submit an enquiry
You can use the online enquiry form or email wbs@wbs.edu.au. Tell us which qualification you are considering and briefly describe your current role, previous study and goals.
Clear information at this stage helps us give you a more useful response. If you are uncertain about the course, explain the responsibilities you currently perform and the areas you want to develop.
2. Receive course information
Our enquiry response provides relevant information about the qualification, online delivery, proposed commencement arrangements, applicable tuition and other fees, and available payment options. It may also outline entry, technology, workplace or assessment requirements that you should consider.
3. Decide whether to apply
An enquiry does not require you to enrol. Review the course structure and consider whether it fits your current experience, available study time, access to technology and ability to complete the assessments.
If you decide to proceed, tell WorkForward so the formal enrolment and suitability process can begin.
4. Complete the Enrolment Form and LLN Assessment
WorkForward will provide the Student Enrolment Form and the applicable language, literacy and numeracy assessment. Complete all required sections accurately and return the documents using the instructions provided.
The LLN process helps identify whether you have the foundation skills needed for the course and whether support or further discussion may be appropriate. It is part of determining suitability; it is not simply an administrative form.
5. Provide two forms of identification
Return two acceptable forms of identification with your completed documents. Examples may include:
- passport;
- Australian driver licence; or
- Medicare card.
WorkForward will confirm which combination is acceptable for your circumstances. Identification must be current, readable and provided through the requested channel. Personal information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy and record-management requirements.
6. Enrolment review and payment
WorkForward reviews the submitted information and confirms the next steps. You then complete the agreed payment requirement or payment arrangement as set out in the course information.
Do not rely on a verbal price or an outdated promotion. Use the current written information provided for your proposed enrolment and ask for clarification before payment if any amount or condition is unclear.
7. Trainer introduction and Zoom onboarding
After the required enrolment and payment steps have been completed, WorkForward coordinates a suitable Zoom meeting time between you and your trainer.
The initial meeting is an opportunity to confirm course expectations, communication arrangements, study planning, assessment submission processes and any immediate questions.
8. Moodle access and commencement
Your Moodle account is established so you can access the relevant online learning and assessment materials. Check that you can sign in, open the course resources and use the required functions.
Your progress will depend on your previous experience, available study time, engagement with the learning materials and successful completion of assessment requirements.
9. Complete learning and assessment for every required unit
Work through the units in accordance with the agreed training arrangements. Submit the required assessments and respond to trainer feedback. If evidence does not yet meet a requirement, further evidence may be requested under the assessment process.
Keep your contact details current and communicate early if technology, workplace access or personal circumstances affect participation.
10. Qualification completion
Once every required unit has been assessed as competent and all applicable administrative requirements have been completed, WorkForward can issue the relevant AQF certification documentation in accordance with its obligations.
Studying for a qualification involves more than enrolling or paying fees. Certification depends on successful completion of the full approved unit structure and all required assessments.

Enquire OnlineThis is a general guide. The formal information, policies, fees, payment arrangements and requirements provided for your proposed enrolment take precedence. Submission of an application does not by itself guarantee acceptance or successful completion.
